Protect Herring. Defend Indigenous Rights. Uphold Justice in the Salish Sea.

In-person fundraising event and discussion about herring conservation, Indigenous justice, and protecting the Salish Sea. The W̱SÁNEĆ Hereditary Chiefs are standing up for their herring relatives, and we need everyone pulling in that same direction.

If you are passionate about environmental stewardship, supporting Indigenous justice, and share a vision of the Salish Sea teaming with an abundance of life, then we encourage you to attend this fundraiser!

The evening will include wonderful insights from the presenters, time to get to know each other, and ways you can help support the cause. Light nourishment will be provided.

This fundraiser is a ticketed event. Your contribution will go towards supporting the Herring Rising Campaign. Tickets prices will have tiers, including $15, $20, $30, and $50. You choose how much you want to pay from these tiers. There are a limited number of $15 tickets available on a first come first serve basis.

A lawyer at Ratcliffe LLP whose expertise lies in Aboriginal Rights and Environmental Law who is working with the Hereditary Chiefs to protect herring

a Master’s student at UVic using historical sources to describe Pacific herring abundance in the Strait of Georgia prior to the modern stock assessment baseline
